KleddTerms of Use (EULA)
1. The service
Kledd gives daily clothing recommendations for children based on the weather forecast. The recommendations are guidance only — a parent always holds the final responsibility for what their child wears and for the child’s safety. Weather data comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and may contain errors or gaps.
2. Kledd Plus — auto-renewing subscription
- Title: Kledd Plus. It adds several children, the week plan, the cubby checklist and the pickup alert, and removes the ads.
- Length: one month (monthly plan) or twelve months (yearly plan).
- Price: shown in the app, in your local currency, before you confirm the purchase.
- Free trial: new subscribers get 7 days free. If you do not cancel during those 7 days, the paid subscription starts automatically at the price shown.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial is over.
3. The free version
Kledd can be used for free. The free version shows ads and is limited to one child. See the privacy policy for how advertising is handled.
4. Acceptable use
You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for private, non-commercial purposes. Reverse engineering, reselling, or abusing the APIs behind the app is not permitted.
5. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses arising from weather data, recommendations, downtime or errors, beyond what mandatory law requires.
6. Changes
We may update the service and these terms; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
7. Apps downloaded from the App Store
The following applies when you obtain Kledd from Apple’s App Store:
- This agreement is concluded between you and Kledd only, and not with Apple. Kledd, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Kledd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer protection law, and any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance of it, have the right to enforce it against you.
8. Governing law
Norwegian law applies. Venue: Oslo.
